[ARCHIVED] Morgantown Police Officers Respond to Home Invasion Robbery

On April 29, 2020 at approximately 2:19 a.m., officers of the Morgantown Police Department responded to 451 Pine St. Unit A in reference to a reported armed robbery.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with three persons residing at the address who stated that four male subjects had entered the house through the front door which was unlocked. All four suspects were wearing face masks three brandished knives and the fourth a shotgun. The suspect demanded cash while brandishing the weapons and left with a small amount of cash and a handgun owned by one of the residents. The victims described the suspects as four males two with shaved heads, one with blond hair and blue eyes, and one of mixed race. One of the suspects was carrying a gold “Vans” backpack.

The Morgantown Police Department Detective unit is investigating the incident and asks anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Detective Division at 304-284-7454.
