Morgantown Public Works will close Willowdale Road between Afton Street and Grove Street Feb. 19-21 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the removal of a large tree. Motorists will be detoured onto Stewart Street and 705 during the closure.
The removal of the tree is necessary for safety measures as the tree has dropped large branches into the roadway and is hazardous to roadway conditions, vehicles and pedestrians.
