MORGANTOWN, W.VA. – The City of Morgantown has completed the milling process for the 2019 Paving Plan and will begin paving streets next week.


The paving of roads for the week of July 1 to 5 will take place at the following locations and dates:


Monday, July 1

Junior Avenue (from University Avenue to Aspen Street)

Munsey Avenue (from Windsor Avenue to Koontz Avenue)


Tuesday, July 2

Junior Avenue (from University Avenue to Aspen Street)

Munsey Avenue (from Windsor Avenue to Koontz Avenue)

Rawley Avenue (from Oakland Street to Evansdale Drive)

Evansdale Drive (from University Avenue to gates in front of Towers)


Wednesday, July 3

Rawley Avenue (from Oakland Street to Evansdale Drive)

Evansdale Drive (from University Avenue to gates in front of Towers)

Paving will not take place July 4 and July 5 due to the holiday.

This schedule is subject to change and all work is weather dependent. Motorists can expect traffic delays, including detours, and/or lane closures while these roads are being paved.
