The City of Morgantown will begin the milling process for the 2019 Paving Plan next week.

The milling of roads for the week of June 17 to 21 will take place at the following locations and dates:


Monday, June 17

Junior Avenue (from University Avenue to Aspen Street)

Munsey Avenue (from Windsor Avenue to Koontz Avenue)

Evansdale Drive (from University Avenue to the gates in front of towers)

Falling Run Road (from Protzman Street to dead end)


Tuesday, June 18

Jacobs Street (from College Avenue to Cornell Avenue)

Cornell Avenue (from Willey Street to College Avenue)

Sturgiss Street (from Foundry Street to dead end)

Spruce Street (from Kirk Street to Pleasant Street)


Wednesday, June 19

Kirk Street (from University Avenue to Spruce Street)

Wharf Street (from parking lot to Clay Street)

Hurley Street (from Clay Street to University Avenue)

Donley Street (from Clay Street to University Avenue)

Clay Street (from Donley Street to Wharf Street)


Thursday, June 20

Wilson Avenue (from Overdale Street to Lyndhurst Street)

Green Street (from Arch Street to Wilson Avenue)

Kingwood Street (from Deckers Avenue to Brockway Avenue)

Deckers Avenue (from dead end to Pennsylvania Avenue)


Friday, June 21

E. Brockway Street (from Route 7 to Pennsylvania and from Marilla to White Avenue)

Mississippi Street (from the Woodland Trailhead to M-Tec Drive)

Avalon Street (from Dorsey Avenue to dead end)


This schedule is subject to change and all work is weather dependent. Motorists can expect traffic delays, including detours, and/or lane closures while these roads are being paved.
