The City of Morgantown will hold a canvassing of the municipal election results on Monday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. This canvassing is being held to obtain an official count of the votes for all the candidates in the election.
Election officials will publicly declare the results of the canvassing; however, these results will not be certified. The official results of the election will be announced within a minimum of 48 hours after the canvassing is completed if no recount is requested.
The canvassing is being held in Council Chambers at City Hall and will be broadcast live on Channel 15 as well as on our web streaming service. The canvassing is open to the public.
