On April 12, 2019 at approximately 3:00 a.m., officers of the Morgantown Police Department and the Morgantown Fire Department responded to a reported fire at 235 High Street. The Fire Department extinguished the fire but there was water and smoke damage to the building as well as items of inventory that were burned and destroyed.
Officers of the Morgantown Police Department along with the Morgantown Fire Marshal are currently following up on several leads and this incident is pending investigation. The total amount of damage is not currently available.
