MORGANTOWN, W.VA. – The City of Morgantown has partnered with CivicPlus to make it easier for city residents to access city information and stay connected with their local government through the Morgantown mobile app.

The app will allow the public to easily access information such as public meeting info and the latest city news. Additional perks of the Morgantown Mobile app include:

- Take a picture and report a concern directly in the app.

- Sign up for city alerts via text and/or email.

- Watch public meeting videos on your device, live or on demand.

- View and apply for job openings.

- View and share events from the city calendar.

- View contact information.

“We are excited about the launch of this app because it provides residents a more efficient way to stay connected with their local government,” said Andrew Stacy, communications manager.

The city uses CivicPlus to design and host its website, and the Morgantown Mobile app is provided as part of that service. Over the past year, the city has worked closely with CivicPlus to develop an app that is user-friendly and easily accessible.

Users can download the Morgantown Mobile app on the Google Play store. The app can also be downloaded on the Apple App store by downloading the CivicPlus app and searching “Morgantown”. After downloading the app, users will be able to create a unique login to personalize the app. For more information visit the Morgantown Mobile app at morgantownwv.gov/app.
