[ARCHIVED] Suspect Arrested in Brandishing Incident

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 12:29 a.m., officers of the Morgantown Police Department, responded to a report of brandishing on the 600 Block of Beechurst Avenue.  The victim reported that he was in an argument with his girlfriend earlier in the evening and then had went to bed. He woke up later and was confronted by his girlfriend and another male suspect in his apartment. The victim reported that the male suspect pointed a firearm at him and threatened to kill him.

The victim called 911 and provided a description of the vehicle. Officers of the Morgantown Police Department observed the reported vehicle while responding to the scene and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. During the investigative stop, officer recovered two semi-automatic firearms.

As officers continued their investigation, they also discovered that both occupants of the car were previously convicted of felony crimes.

Jessica Ann McCRACKEN, 36 years of age of Clarksburg was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, and DUI. She is being held at the North Central Regional Jail pending bond or trial.

Fred L. HUDSON, 25 years of age of Morgantown was charged with Possession of a firearm by a felon, brandishing and Assault. He is being held at the North Central Regional Jail pending bond or trial
