[ARCHIVED] Warrant Results in Arrest and Recovery of Stolen Firearms

On Nov. 27, 2018, the Morgantown Police Department, with the assistance of the Mon Metro Drug Task Force and ATF, executed a search warrant at 321 Brockway Avenue Apt. B. 

The search was conducted as part of an investigation into a burglary which had been reported to the Morgantown Police Department on Nov. 25. The search resulted in the recovery of several stolen firearms as well as packaged marijuana and cash. 

DeRon William Parrish, age 30, of Morgantown was subsequently placed into custody and charged with nighttime burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy and prohibited procession of a firearm. 

Andre James Parrish, age 27, of Morgantown was also placed into custody and charged with grand larceny, nighttime burglary and conspiracy. Both remain in custody pending arraignment.

The Morgantown Police Department would like to thank all the agencies which assisted as well as those citizens who provided valuable information, which greatly aided in the apprehension of the suspects.
