At approximately 6 p.m. on August 30, 2018, an officer of the Morgantown Police Department was patrolling in the Sabraton Area of Morgantown and observed a suspicious vehicle, occupied and parked along Route 7 at the Park and Ride. The officer observed the car and requested a backup officer to respond to the area.
When officers approached the car, they found four (4) adults and a child in a car-seat inside the car and the adults appeared to be using controlled substances. A K-9 alert on the vehicle indicated there were drugs present. Following a search of the vehicle and of the occupants, cocaine, heroin, drug paraphernalia that would enable the use, packaging and transportation of those drugs were recovered.
All four of the occupants were in the vehicle and the child was in a car seat in the back seat of the vehicle between two adults, while the drugs were being smoked or injected. All four occupants were charged with Child Endangerment. The child was 3 years old and is now in the care and custody of Child Protective Services.
Kerstyn Nichole MILLER, 18 years of age of Fairmont was charged with Child Endangerment.
Tyler Wade LIVENGOOD, 26 years of age of Westover was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Child Endangerment.
Aylisa Katherine WHITENER, 31 years of age of Morgantown was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Child Endangerment.
Brian Christopher JUDY, 24 years of age of Morgantown was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Child Endangerment.
All four are pending arraignment.
