Morgantown Parking Authority Launches Holiday Toy Drive Contest

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Morgantown Parking Authority (MPA) is pleased to announce its annual holiday toy drive in partnership with Toys For Tots. Through Dec. 2, MPA will collect new, unwrapped toys to support children in need this holiday season. 

Community members are encouraged to contribute by donating toys valued at $10 or more to qualify for the parking permit drawing. Each donation will enter the donor into a drawing for a 24-hour parking permit valid at the Spruce St., University Ave., or Wharf parking garage locations. 

Prizes for the drawing include: 

- First Place: 6 months of free parking ($660 value)

- Second Place: 3 months of free parking ($345 value)

- Third Place: 1 month of free parking ($115 value) 

Donations can be dropped off at MPA’s office located at 300 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV, 26505. The drawing will take place on Dec. 5 at noon, and winners will be notified shortly thereafter. MPA encourages everyone to join them in spreading holiday cheer and making a difference in the lives of local children this season.
