CORRECTION: Morgantown Public Works Department Providing Seasonal Leaf Pickup Service

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Each year, the City of Morgantown’s Public Works Department provides a leaf removal and pickup service to residents within city limits, and the service will continue for the 2023 season.

"Our leaf vac and pickup program is an excellent way for us to help city residents keep their ditches and streets clean," said Deputy Director of Engineering and Public Works, Meagan Deeley.

If a resident's street has leaves collecting in the ditch lines, he or she may call the Public Works Department at 304-291-7465 to be added to the list for leaf removal.

Alternatively, leaves can be bagged in large, lawn-size trash bags and placed at the end of residents' driveways for collection.

The service is free of charge.
