Morgantown Police Respond to Motor Vehicle Accident, Uncovering Shooting

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - On October 23, 2023, at approximately 9:16 p.m., Morgantown Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Don Knotts Blvd near the Waterfront Hotel. Upon arrival officers discovered that the driver of one of the vehicles had suffered a gunshot wound to the right shoulder area. 

A male was seen fleeing on foot from the area by other parties involved. The victim was transported to the hospital by Mon County EMS with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
