City of Morgantown Sets Voting Machine Public Test Day

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The Morgantown City Clerk’s office will hold a public voting machine test on April 5, 2023 in preparation for the 2023 Municipal Election on April 25.

In accordance with WV Code §3-4A-26(a), the test will be conducted to determine that the electronic voting machine will correctly count the votes cast by processing ballots.

The test will be held at the Public Safety Building (300 Spruce Street) on Wednesday, April 5 at 1 p.m.

The public is welcome to attend the test in person, but it will also be prerecorded and broadcast on Morgantown 14. The recording will also be available on the City of Morgantown website at https://morgantownwv.viebit.com.
