City of Morgantown Launches New Citizen Request App
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Recently, the City of Morgantown has partnered with SeeClickFix to announce a new platform, dubbed “Morgantown 311," that will allow citizens to report concerns and request the City of Morgantown's services.
With SeeClickFix's free mobile app, citizens of Morgantown will now be able to provide City of Morgantown personnel with pictures, specific descriptions, and more — valuable information needed to get jobs done efficiently. In addition, the SeeClickFix platform provides Morgantown officials with a centralized request management system to manage issues from creation to resolution — engaging Morgantown's citizens throughout the process.
This partnership not only allows Morgantown citizens to report problems, but also to view, comment on, and vote to fix problems submitted by their neighbors. Citizens can even create their own “watch areas” to receive notifications about all the issues reported in their community, enabling them to follow the progress of all service requests — not just the ones they report.
"The launch of Morgantown 311 is exciting news for our community," said Hollie Gregory, the City of Morgantown's communications specialist. "It provides a more streamlined and engaging way for residents to bring attention to and keep up with community concerns, such as potholes, street light outages, and more."
The Morgantown 311 mobile app is available for download via the App Store and Google Play Store.
