Morgantown Police Respond to Shots Heard Call
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - At approximately 2 p.m. on November 10, 2022, officers of the Morgantown Police Department responded to a shots heard call at North Elementary.
Officers were advised that what sounded like gun shots were heard coming from a wooded area behind the school. The school was immediately placed on lock down status while Morgantown Police Officers and Monongalia County Sheriffs Deputies searched the surrounding area.
The incident is currently being investigated. Anyone with additional information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Morgantown Police Department Detective Division at 304-284-7454.
