Fire Marshals Arrest Two Suspects for Malicious Burning
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - City of Morgantown Fire Marshals have arrested two suspects following an investigation into a fire that occurred at approximately 11 p.m. on Thursday, September 1.
Jaden Fisher, 20, of Charleston, West Virginia and Cole Binion, 19, of St. Albans, West Virginia were charged with malicious burning after investigators determined that they set fire to a couch in the middle of Cornell Avenue. Gasoline was used as an accelerant, creating a dangerous situation in the street.
The incident followed shortly after West Virginia University's football game against the University of Pittsburgh.
Fisher and Binion posted $500 bond each.
