Committee of the Whole Meeting Highlights:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Committee of the Whole meetings of the Morgantown City Council are intended to provide an opportunity for the Council to receive information, ask questions, and identify policy options in an informal setting. No official action is taken at these meetings.
Presentations:
- CITY AMBASSADOR AND RECYCLE RIGHT MORGANTOWN PROGRAM UPDATES
Special Project Coordinator Vanessa Reaves will provide council with an update on the City Ambassador program, which supports a safe, vibrant, and welcoming environment in the downtown and riverfront area. Reaves will also provide an update on the Recycle Right Morgantown program, which works to educate the public on how to recycle right.
- VISIT MOUNTAINEER COUNTRY 2021 ANNUAL REPORT AND 2022 MARKET PLAN
Visit Mountaineer Country CVB (VMCCVB) President and CEO Susan Riddle will discuss the VMCCVB 2021 Annual Report and 2022 Market Plan.
- MORGANTOWN PARKING AUTHORITY MAINTENANCE SHOP AND BREAK AREA
Morgantown Parking Authority Director Dana McKenzie will discuss the MPA's need for a Maintenance Shop and Break Area. The location being explored for this would be the corner of the University Avenue Parking Garage.
