City of Morgantown Launches New Website
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Today, the City of Morgantown launched its new website located at morgantownwv.gov that improves access to public services and information for the community.
The new website is designed to offer a user-friendly experience with a welcoming, modern feel. It is also mobile friendly and secured for user privacy protection.
"The website is the city's digital government service center and information hub for the people of Morgantown," said Communications Director Andrew Stacy. "The intent of the redesign was to make a more user-friendly and positive web experience for the public that focuses on the many digital services the city provides. We will continue to improve our digital services to make them easily available."
The new website includes improved navigation and search function, an enhanced news and calendar section, and an increased focus on online forms, payments and other digital services.
The City of Morgantown Communications Department worked with staff from CivicPlus, the city's web service provider, over the past four months on the development of the new website. The last redesign of the city's website was in 2017. The total cost of the redesign was $2,000.
