Morgantown Police Seek Suspect in Shooting Incident

Morgantown Police are looking for a suspect involved in a shooting incident that took place on April 8, 2021 in the Domino's parking lot at 300 Pleasant Street.
Justin Christopher Lamar (pictured below), 19 years of age is wanted by Morgantown police for malicious assault. Lamar is a white male approximately 6 foot 1 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - At approximately 3 p.m. on April 8, officers of the Morgantown Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of Domino’s at 300 Pleasant Street.
Upon arrival, officers identified a male with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The male stated that he had been shot by another male following a dispute between the two parties. First responding officers administered first aid to the individual until arrival of Monongalia County EMS personnel. The individual was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Officers are attempting to locate the suspect of the shooting. The suspect is identified as a 6-foot-tall white male with blond hair. He is wearing a red shirt and grey sweatpants. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot on Cobun Avenue toward the Greenmont neighborhood. Officers are searching the surrounding area and are following up on leads to locate the suspect and other parties what may have been involved.
