- UPDATE ON THE WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT
A representative from the Human Resources Development Foundation Region IV will present council with an overview of the
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) will help job seekers and workers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and match employers with skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy.
- UPDATE OF THE WOODBURN SCHOOL REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
The Chair of the Woodburn School Redevelopment Commission will present council with its
annual report.
- LEASING OFFICE SPACE AT THE AIRPORT TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
At the recommendation of the Airport Director this
lease would be approved for the Monongalia County Health Department to lease approximately 1917 sq. ft. of office and garage space at the Morgantown Municipal Airport for $45,000 annually. The office space is located inside the former NOROP building. The lease is for two years with two two year renewal options.
- CHANGING ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS ON BURROUGHS STREET
At the direction of a court order, this
ordinance would amend the zoning classification of a portion of property owned by Calvary Baptist Church on Burroughs Street from R-1 Single Family to B-2 Service Business District.
- PROVIDING AN UPDATE ON THE GENERAL FUND BUDGET
The Interim Finance Director will provide council with the monthly General Fund Budget Report. This report will be for October 2020.

City administrative offices will be closed on the following days during the holiday season:
Nov. 26 - closed for Thanksgiving
Dec. 23 - closed at noon for Christmas
Dec. 24 - closed for Christmas
Dec. 30 - closed at noon for New Years
Dec. 31 - closed for New Years
