[ARCHIVED] Morgantown Police Officers Arrest Fugitive

At around 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 23, 2017, officers of the Morgantown Police Department were conducting security checks in the area of Retail Drive and observed an individual engaging in activity consistent with that of “Huffing”, the inhalation of aerosol gasses for the purpose of intoxication, while inside of a motor vehicle parked in the parking lot. 

Officers approached the suspect and identified him as Charles David Ford II, 40 years of age of Charles Town, West Virginia. Investigation revealed that Ford was wanted as a fugitive wanted in both Maryland and Pennsylvania for various charges. Currently, Ford is in custody as a fugitive. Ford is being held at the North Central Regional Jail and is pending extradition to Adams County, Pennsylvania.
