Any registered voter within Morgantown City limits is eligible for early voting, which takes place from Wednesday, April 17, 2019 to Saturday, April 27, 2019 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Morgantown City Hall Lobby, located at 389 Spruce St. or at the Northside Fire Station, located at 1000 Van Voorhis Rd. There is no early voting on Sunday.

Morgantown Community Clean Up Day is April 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m at a dozen sites throughout the city. Volunteer captains are needed to help organize and recruit other volunteers. For more information or to volunteer as a captain contact Colleen Harshbarger at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Woodburn School Redevelopment Commission is hosting a block party at the Old Woodburn School on April 27 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Please join them for an afternoon bursting with exciting events. The old school is home to a number of local and national non-profits, who will be providing some awesome activities, including:
• Science experiments with Friends of Decker’s Creek
• Games with the Boys and Girls Club
• Live music powered by the Pop Shop
• Tours of the Old Woodburn School led by Fifth Ward City Councilor Ron Dulaney
• Property cleanup led by AmeriCorps member Summer Phillips with the Northern WV Brownfield Assistance Center.
This event is sure to be full of fun for the whole family and will take place at the playground behind the school. The Pyles of Pasta food truck will be present, so bring an appetite, too! This will be a great opportunity to learn more about this historic property, meet new people, and enjoy some nice weather!
