UPDATE: Morgantown Police Respond to Shots Fired on Water St.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The Morgantown Police Department has identified a suspect from a shooting incident on Water St. last month.
On August 20th at approximately 7:25 p.m., Morgantown Police Officers responded to a shots fired call at 1993 Water St. in Morgantown. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male who had received gunshot wounds to his hand and back.
Detectives working the case have identified the suspect as Harry Tucker of Clinton, Maryland. Mr. Tucker was taken into custody in Fairfax, Virginia by the U.S. Marshalls Service based on warrants generated by the Morgantown Police Department. He is currently being held in lieu of extradition.
The Morgantown Police are still actively investigating the case to identify a possible second party involved.
