IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to upcoming renovations at Morgantown City Hall all Morgantown City Council meetings will be held in Monongalia County Commission Chambers located on the second floor of the Monongalia County Building at 243 High Street.Morgantown City Council Regular Meeting Highlights - APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT AT THE MORGANTOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT: At the recommendation of the Airport Director, this ordinance would authorize a lease agreement with EAN Holdings, LLC which operates Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent-A-Car, and National Car Rental for services and the use of space at the Morgantown Municipal Airport.
- APPROVING THE 2022 SALT BID: At the recommendation of the Deputy Director of Engineering and Public Works, council will vote to award the 2022 Salt Bid - Bid Call 2023-01 to Laurel Aggregates in the amount of $136,500 for treated salt. Currently the city has roughly 1,000 tons of salt on hand. An additional 1,000 tons will fill the supply and prepare the city for the coming winter. The city will also have 1,000 tons on reserve through Laurel Aggregates if needed.
