  • APPROVING THE CITY OF MORGANTOWN LEVY ORDER AND RATE SHEET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2022
Council will consider approving the Levy Order and Rate Sheet by the City of Morgantown and approved by the State Auditor for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2022. The laying of levy is the final step in the City of Morgantown's annual budget process.

Passed. 7-0.
  • REMOVING THE REQUIREMENT FOR MASKS TO BE WORN AT CITY PUBLIC MEETINGS
This resolution would no longer require attendees at City of Morgantown public meetings to wear face coverings. This resolution rescinds previous resolutions requiring the wearing of masks. 

Passed. 7-0.
  • AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO APPLY FOR FEDERAL FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT A NEW FIRE STATION
This resolution would authorize the City Manager to apply for federal funds available through Congressionally Directed Spending. These funds are formally requested through West Virginia Senators Joe Manchin and Shelley Moore Capito. The city will apply for approximately $6 million for the purpose of constructing a new fire station to replace the existing South Side Fire Station.
