- REMOVING THE REQUIREMENT FOR A LOCAL CONTRACTOR LICENSE
Council will discuss a proposed
ordinance that repeals the requirement for contractors to obtain a local contractor license through the city. This change is to comply with state law which requires contractors to only need a state contractors license and a city business license.

- CITY OF MORGANTOWN FISCAL YEAR 2023 BUDGET
Council will discuss the proposed
Fiscal Year 2023 Budget and
FY2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan. The proposed General Fund and Capital budget totals $39.5 million, up 1% from the proposed Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget. The proposed Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Fiscal Years 2022-2027 totals $41.7 million and includes 61 projects. The total CIP funding for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 is $6.9 million and includes 47 projects.
