- LEASING OFFICE SPACE AT THE MORGANTOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
At the recommendation of the Airport Director, council will discuss moving this
ordinance to its June 1 regular meeting agenda. The ordinance would authorize a lease agreement between the city and Xerox for office space in the terminal building at the Morgantown Municipal Airport. The lease agreement is for three years and would end on May 31, 2024.
Action Taken: Moved to the June 1, 2021 city council meeting agenda.- CREATING AN EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK FOR CITY EMPLOYEES
At the recommendation of the City Manager, council will discuss moving this
ordinance to its June 1 regular meeting agenda. This ordinance would direct the City Manager to create an employee handbook following the direction laid out in this ordinance. The ordinance would also approve a formal grievance procedure and a diversity, equity and inclusion plan for the city.

- SUPPORTING FEDERAL LEGISLATION AIMED AT IMPROVING VOTERS RIGHTS
Council will discuss the inclusion of this
resolution on its June 1 regular meeting agenda. This resolution is in support of federal legislation H.R. 1 / S. 1, also known as the "For the People Act". It calls on federal legislators to support and vote in favor of the legislation which offers increased protections for voters rights.
