Morgantown Fire Department Responds to 2^nd Alarm Fire on Richwood Avenue

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - At approximately 7:55 p.m. on Nov. 9, the Morgantown Fire Department was dispatched to a confirmed structure fire at 829 Richwood Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find flames showing from a window and quickly brought the fire under control within 5 minutes.
 
The fire caused an estimated $20,000 in damages to the vacant, one-story house. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. Investigators have determined that the structure was recently occupied by unauthorized inhabitants, and the fire is now under further investigation.
