Monongalia County Commissioners Ask Residents to Reach Out on Local TV Station Issue

Monongalia County Commissioners are hoping to hear from residents who subscribe to Dish Network or Direct TV who would rather receive local stations as opposed to ones out of Pittsburgh. This would include stations like WBOY-TV, WDTV, and WVFX.

The county has passed a resolution to support these residents.

Currently, satellite TV users miss out on local news because they receive television stations based out of Pittsburgh.

If you're a resident of Greater Morgantown area and would like to reach out to the Monongalia County Commission about this issue, email comments to, or mail letters to 243 High Street, Morgantown, WV 26508.
