The City of Morgantown, in association with the Federal Aviation Association (FAA) is seeking public input on a draft Environmental Assessment that outlines future development of a 1,001-foot extension of Runway 18-36.
The Environmental Assessment was drafted in order to evaluate and detail the impact that this project may have on the surrounding environment. The draft Environmental Assessment is available to the public from May 22, 2019 – July 7, 2019 at the following locations:

A public workshop to present and discuss the draft environmental assessment will take place on Tuesday, June 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Facility Training Room at the Morgantown Municipal Airport. The public will be able to learn more about the project and ask questions.
