Hazel Ruby McQuain Park
The Hazel Ruby McQuain Park is located in Morgantown’s Wharf District. The park is owned and operated by the City of Morgantown, and it includes a portion of the Caperton Rail-Trail, Walnut Street Landing, and the Ruby Amphitheater performance venue. The park features a newly renovated amphitheater with a capacity for up to 2,000 people. The Park is enclosed during certain events and is surrounded by beautiful cherry trees and the Monongahela River.

Easily accessible from I-68 and I-79 and just a short walk from historic downtown Morgantown, the park is the perfect place for concerts, festivals, services, theatre productions, weddings and more.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are here to provide you with exceptional service and make your event special.
Facility rentals may include the Ruby Amphitheater and stage, the newly renovated historic depot, and our brand new green room lounge.
Perfect for meetings or small receptions, the depot includes a kitchen or concession area with a large counter space for distribution of food or meeting materials and ample storage cabinets. The green room lounge is an approximately 300 sq. ft. interior carpeted space great for a dressing room or event coordination away from the heat and features a full bath with shower. Both the depot and the green room have restrooms, air conditioning, and may be rented independently from the park.
